What do you think about these dresses?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 11:02 pm
I'm trying to find a dress for homecoming. My homecoming is semi-formal; girls have to wear dresses, guys have to wear dress pants, button ups, and ties. For my body type, I have bigger boobs (32D) and a smaller waist (26 inches). http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2982778?origin=shoppingbag http://www.bcbg.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2777007&cp=2769162.3244010&view=all&clickid=cat_leftnav_txt&parentPage=family Thank you so so much in advance!

my boyfriends parents have changed completely?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 11:02 pm
My bf and i have been together for 3.5 years, the past1.5 in a long distance, we're both from states, but im in india while hes in malaysia(both for medschool), he is punjabi and i am not. his parents have always supported our relationship, but this time when he went home, they got really mad that him and i have planned our future, and said they cant give him any response until theyve met me. i know this is a normal reaction, but why are they being so different now? and its caused so many probs wit my bf and i . I feel like he will just leave me and not fight for me, and hes getting so annoyed because im always doubting it, he keeps saying "how can i fight for you when we're so unhappy right now" i dont know what to do, he doesnt want to talk bout the future bcuz nothing can be planned till i meet his family. what do i do? i was going to move to malaysia and do internship there,(in feb) should i still do that, when hes not willing to do the same to me? nor is he arranging for his family to meet me? or do i give it time as all of this happeend only a few days ago..?

Rough friends and family members with my cat?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 11:02 pm
Okay, i have a lot of friends and family members who love my cat. I love my cat too. He is a little over a year and he is mostly "mellow" but get's very playful in the morning. Some of my friends and family are kind of rough with him, but he tolerates everything. It makes me mad when they are rough with him. How do I keep them from being rough with him? I have some friends who hold him and WILL NOT let go. Than they get mad at me when I tell them to let my cat down. I mean, they are great friends, but my cat hates them. They hold him so it hurts him! (not on purpose though) I get so mad I almost cry, because I dont want my cat going through all this torture. Help!

Can someone answer these question for me?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 11:01 pm
I always wanted to know: Why do they have black university colleges cause when you go into the real world it's not just black and white. what if it was all white colleges? even though we know they are some colleges that make it very hard for the black race to attend. Why is there just one month to celebrate black history month?(why not everyday in our homes, school, church etc, etc,)? What is the point of saying black community when we all dont agree, and we mix with other races anyway?? What if they have white community what would ppl say. This is my final and most important question(to me anyway) Why have all the so call "black men leaders" (to me I dont call them leaders in order to be a leader you have to have followers and if they not leading black families in the right directions well they are not leaders.) anyway why they dont stress about getting down to the real deal as far as important topics like FATHERLESS HOMES/ more SELF LOVE/ speaking ABOUT BLACK FAMILIES LOVING EACH OTHER AND MARRYING ONE ANOTHER RAISING KIDS(yes, I said it twice) any way they talk/have funerals for WORDS like the N-word instead of having furnerals for men thats already dead i e deadbeat dads. Why is it that way

Obama lost his citizenship?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 11:00 pm
I asked this earlier. It is not a 'non-issue'. He lost his citizenship when he became a citizen of Indonesia. Mom lost her citizenship when she married an Indonesian and lived in that country. (under Indonesian law, he had to be a citizen to go to school). When he returned to the USA, he and his mom had to take an oath of allegiance to regain citizenship. No proof of this has ever surfaced. This is in the US Nationality Act of 1940, Section 317 (b), a minor child follows the naturalization and citizenship status of his or her custodial parent. Now, how can anyone say this does not matter. Just ignore this act. You can't ignore this act! it is LAW! And I don't want to hear about McCain. All military families who have a baby born on a military base are US citizens under law. If Obama was born outside the US on a military base, he too would be a citizen. McCain's family NEVER renounced their citizenship. The issue is the renouncing of citizenship while living and going to school in Indonesia, and the failure of taking an oath of citizenship to the USA when he returned to the US.

How can an Asian guy (me) convince a Mexican family that he’ll be a good husband for their daughter ?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 10:59 pm
I'm a Vietnamese guy who's hopelessly in love with a Latina. She's Mexican to be exact. We've known each other for 8 years now. I asked her to marry me and she said: "yes". Somehow her family isn't convince. They said we're different people of different cultures and I'm too young for her (she's 7 years older than me). She told me that she'll marry me. It doesn't matter what anyone else think. However I would like to get the blessing of her family. Do you think if I start to learn Spainish that will help convince them I'm the right man for their daughter ?

Anyone have ideas for a profitable business to start in a remote provincial area of Asia?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 10:59 pm
My wife's family's live in a remote province of The Philippines. Their income currently comes from the harvesting of coconut palms. In recent typhoons their crops were destroyed and now they have no income. They have a small store, as do many others in their province, but I'm looking to find a new business direction for them. Can anyone suggest something that would be sustainable? They only have a limited amount of water available, so rice growing is not an option. I was thinking perhaps a piggery or chicken farm, but not sure if either require a lot of water? Buying them a vehicle to transport goods or people is probably not the best option considering the sky rocketing gas prices and ongoing maintenance costs. The other people in the province don't have any money to buy goods or services from them, so ideally they need to produce something they could export elsewhere. Your advice is appreciated, Thanks

Why does society have a bad outlook on gays? Why do they think we are so different than regular people?

Saturday 4 October 2008 @ 10:58 pm
I am a gay teenager..16 yrs old to be exact. And well I am only out to my mom, aunt, sister, and some friends. And I really want to be open with my sexuality to everyone... But it's hard to do that with so many homo-phobics in my school and family... Any help would be much appreciated... Oh and the reason it would be so hard for me is, because I am a jock that plays every sport and a straight A student that no one would ever expect being gay..so again help would be much appreciated...Thanks Brandon
